About us
Chimezie Chkwuma founded Beacon Legal in 1992 after seeing too many Nigerian businesses and families lose what was rightfully theirs — not because the law failed them, but because they didn't have counsel that understood both the letter of Nigerian law and the commercial reality of how business actually works here. We built this firm to fix that.

Our mission
We tell clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. Our advice is honest, even when it's uncomfortable — because trust built on half-truths doesn't hold up in court or in life.
Every document, every deadline, every interaction reflects the standard we hold ourselves to: one we'd want if the positions were reversed.
Nigerian law is changing fast. We stay ahead of regulatory shifts, court precedents, and cross-border developments so our clients never get caught by what they didn't know.
We don't hand cases off. The lawyer you meet is the lawyer who works your matter — from the first call to the final resolution.
